Eight Days Deep

Eight days on the ocean's floor,

With a mermaid, whom I adore.

In the depths where silence reigns,

We danced amid the seaweed lanes.

Through ancient wrecks and caverns deep,

In her world, I found secrets to keep.

With phosphorescent glows and whispers low,

Eight days passed in a watery flow.
